Its seems to be very reminiscent of Ace Combat 4-5 gameplay, especially when you take into consideration the voice acting and many similar super-vehicles (such as the Hrimfaxi-style sub from AC5)

Ace Combat 7 Release Date

Announced about a month ago, you can expect Ace Combat 7 to be released right around the turn of the New Year. More videos of game-play and teasers are being dropped like hot cakes, so there is plenty of hype to hold everyone over until then!

In other news, all group submissions will be automatically approved when placed in any folder besides the "Featured" folder. This should mean a more steady flow of art instead of waiting for my slow ass to get on once in a while and approve submissions. Years ago this might have been necessary, but is definitely not a good way to do things anymore.
Ace Combat 7
An official post, (as well as a trailer) over on http://acecombat.com/ shows that Ace Combat 7 is in fact coming sometime in the future. Although no dates have been mentioned, there are lots of goodies to collect out of the trailer.
-It takes place in the Strangereal universe (considering it's title alone that could be assumed).
-Large super structures can be seen, such as a tall isolated building called "The Lighthouse" and a low-flying Arkbird-like air vehicle that drops unmanned drones.
-A dodging maneuver similar to that in the dogfighting mode from Ace Combat: Assault Horizon can be seen on the website, though the actual dogfighting HUD
